Prior to joining Columbia in 1992, Mr. Roman was a partner in the Portland, Oregon office of Coopers & Lybrand. During his 17 years at Coopers he was also a resident in the firm's Boston and Paris offices. Mr. Roman is a graduate of Grinnell College and earned his MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago. Mr. Roman is the Cheif Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Northwest Pipe Company, a NASDAQ-listed company.
